Terms of service
Effective 10/7/2026. These terms are between BuildKeep LLC ("we") and the business that signs up for BuildKeep ("you").
The service
BuildKeep helps you plan and record preventive maintenance. You're responsible for the people you invite and for keeping your password private.
Fees
BuildKeep is billed monthly at the price on your order. You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may pause an account that is more than 15 days past due.
AI features
When API mode is on, BuildKeep uses AI to read data plates and draft PM plans, contractor checks and lifespan estimates. AI output can be wrong. Check model and serial numbers against the plate, follow the manufacturer's instructions, and use licensed professionals where the law or the work requires them. BuildKeep doesn't replace your own judgment or your fire marshal, inspectors or insurer.
Your data
You own the records you put in BuildKeep. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. You can export them at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't try to break into other accounts, overload the service, or use BuildKeep for anything illegal.
Availability
We work to keep BuildKeep running and backed up, but it's provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including equipment damage or missed maintenance.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time. We can end the agreement for non-payment or misuse. After it ends you'll have 30 days to download your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Missouri.
